Estoppel Notice

                On August 16, 2018 the Town Board of the Town of Cape Vincent passed a Bond Resolution authorizing the issuance of serial bonds in the Town of Cape Vincent in an amount not to exceed $600,000.00 the proceeds of which are to be used for acquisition of two parcels of the Town of Cape Vincent Tax Map Parcel Number 39.81-1-65.1 & 39.81-1-64.1 for the installation of a public restroom and docks. The period of probable usefulness for such estimated cost is as follows:

                A full text of the resolution is available for inspection at the Town Clerk’s office 1964 NYS Route 12E, Cape Vincent, New York during normal business hours.

                The validity of the obligations authorized by such resolution may be hereafter contested only if such obligations were authorized for an object or purpose for which the Town of Cape Vincent is not authorized to expend money or if the provisions of law, which should have been complied with as of the date of publication of this notice were not substantially complied with, and an action, suit, or proceeding contesting such validity is commenced within twenty days of the date of publication of the notice, or such obligations were authorized in violation of the provisions of the Constitution.

Surplus Equipment

The Town of Cape Vincent Highway Department has the following item for sale that has been declared as surplus equipment.

8 road signs, 6 road sign bases, 20 safety lights, 1 box various service manuals, miscellaneous Napa filters, 1 Mack windshield, 10 small safety barrels, 6 tandem wheels and tires, 3 tandem rims.

Public Notice

The Town of Cape Vincent Water Districts 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6 Annual Quality Water Reports for the year 2017 has been finalized. This report contains information regarding drinking water. The report will be posted on the towns website, and copies are available in the Supervisor’s office, 1964 NYS Rt. 12E during regular business hours.
